About Me

Hello, I'm Andrea and thank you for visiting my website. 

People often ask where my passion for baking came from, well I started baking in order to make sure that my son, and my rainbow baby, had the best birthday cake for his first birthday and then requests started to come in from impressed friends and family - Over the Rainbow was born! I absolutely adore being part of people's special moments and happy memories. 

I then applied for my first professional competition Cake International 2019 and won a bronze! I was beyond thrilled not to mention stunned. I was only 2 points away from a silver and was determined to get a silver in 2020's cake international... unfortunately 2020's event was cancelled for reasons we all know about! However I have a positive feeling that 2021 will be a much better year. 

Weddings 

Who doesn't love a wedding, I can say I've been mildly obsessed with weddings since Charlene (Kylie) walked down that aisle to Scott (Jason Donavon) in possibly the best tv wedding of the 80s - I was hooked!

I have years of experience as a hotel wedding co-ordinator before I had my cake business, not to mention countless weddings of friends and family that I've planned and executed with on the day co-ordination - what can I say, always the bridesmaid! 

Your wedding day will be one of the most special days of your life, not too mention the most expensive, so its important that every detail is on point and that you have someone in your corner that can set everything up for you and make everything run smoothly.
